Need something to get your Lenten Journey kick-started?! Don't miss this event beginning tonight! Are you suffering? Are you doubting God's love for you? Are you curious about your faith? Come and listen! Make the time and bring your neighbor and a friend.
Don't forget to select a wooden tile from the basket near the ambo after Mass. On it, you will find the name of someone in our community in need of prayer this Lent. Please remember to pray for them daily and return the wooden tile at the end of Lent. Many have found that the best way to pray daily for special intentions is to put your wooden tile somewhere you will see it everyday. How about affixed to your bathroom mirror or on the kitchen window sill?
Hackett Catholic Prep High School and students from Saint Augustine and Saint Monica will be performing the musical The Wizard of Oz March 16th 23rd and 24th at 7 p.m. and March 17th at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets will go on sale at www. The Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph will host a prayer service at 6 p.m. on February 8th at Holy Family Chapel at Nazareth. An additional prayer service has been planned earlier in the week on February 6th at 4 p.m. also at Holy Family Chapel. All are invited. February 8 is the feast day of St. Josephine Bakhita, who was kidnapped as a child and sold into slavery in Sudan and Italy. Once Josephine was freed, she became a Canossian nun and dedicated her life to sharing her testament of deliverance from slavery and comforting the poor and suffering. She was declared a Saint in 2000 by Pope John Paul II.
