The theme for this year's Bishop's Annual Appeal is  "Living the Mission of the Eucharist” which is powerfully expressed in our three diocesan priorities: 1) Fostering Priestly Vocations by supporting seminarian education/formation as well as providing for ongoing priestly formation opportunities; 2) Accompanying Families toward Holiness by supporting our Catholic schools and providing online faith formation materials; and 3) Activating Missionary Disciples by helping to spread the Good News by supporting the cost of websites and providing our award-winning Southwest Michigan Catholic magazine to all registered Parishioners free of charge.

Through the Bishop’s Annual Appeal, we share Christ’s mission by serving countless people in ways we may not realize. All of us, personally and through our parishes, enjoy the fruits of the work of the diocesan ministry departments. When we use God’s blessing to make our annual gift or pledge, we join with all of our sisters and brothers in Christ throughout the diocese to do the Lord’s work — work that no one individual or parish can do alone.
