The Chrism Mass will be live streamed at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7th. The Mass will be held at St. Augustine Cathedral and restricted to Bishop Bradley and a few clergy and servers. Sacred oils will be blessed and bottled for later distribution to the Parishes. The suspension of the public celebration of Mass continues through April 30th.
As such all Holy Week liturgies celebrated by Bishop Bradley at St. Augustine Cathedral will be live streamed on the diocesan website. The lay faithful are invited to participate by viewing as they are restricted from being at the churches. Fr Joseph will celebrate a private Mass for some days during Holy Week, but it is not public and is restricted according to the Diocesan guidelines.
Continue to have Hope! Even though things are more restrictive, it’s still a beautiful time for reflection and prayer and growth in our spirituality through different media, and new ways of devotion.
